Time with Thailand’s Treasures

With a bright and vibrant culture there are so many things to see and do in Thailand because this is a dream Thailand Holiday whether going on your own, on a gap year or with family and friends.

On the top of many to do lists would be to visit an Elephant wildlife park/reserve and help look after  the elephants for a while. We have all seen pictures of people basically sat in the lap of an elephant that was lying down which just seems incredible and so many would love to experience it and call it one of the most life-altering experiences of their lives.

There are so many beautiful beaches which are stretches of white sand and clear blue waters such as Ko Pha Ngan and the Phi Phi islands both of which many absolutely love to visit. Think of a beach shack for a few days down there and spend them lying on the beach in the sun and truly relaxing.

There is such a huge religious culture in Thailand and it is evident in most places that you visit. So on your to visit list should definitely be one of the sacred places like the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. You can actually get a private tour of all the temples which would definitely be fascinating.

Speaking of tours, a must would be to visit the vibrant Bangkok which will be such a contrast to the other more traditional areas of Thailand that you might want to visit.

Part of visiting would also be so that you could try some of the authentic Thai food in places such as the  Chiang Mai street market. Wander round, breathe in all the fragrant smells and find a hole in the wall vendor that sells the most amazing food you’ll ever eat!

So many wondrous places to see and things to do in what to us is like a magical country.

Have you ever been to Thailand?
